I think that my favorite thing about being a writer is that if I come across a story I don't like, I can just rewrite into something that I do like. A lot of people don't know this, but a lot of the stories you read come from authors who were dissatisfied with another story they'd read, you just can't often tell because stories often change a lot from conception to publication.
