It's Over

 The air is filled
With cries and cheers,
"It's over!" People scream.
Everyone,
From the highest leader
To the poorest beggar
Is filled with joy. 

Such an event 
Has never happened in the history
Of the world.
Many thought
That we would not see
This day.

But see it we have,
And as the sun
Crests over the horizon,
I can't help but cheer.
It's over!
Our world has ended.
We will never have 
To see it end again.
