When I picture the future, I picture a world where people have rejected reality altogether. There are no jobs for them to do, not a lot of money for them to spend, and not many places where they can go. So they spend all of their time daydreaming, sharing stories, telling jokes, building their own worlds to escape in. AI has now made it so much easier to lie and spread misinformation that nobody can agree on what the truth is. Many no longer believe that it exists.
