I want to say that I've been feeling disconnected from reality, but I've never been connected to reality in the first place. I don't think anyone is, most of us are just better at pretending that reality exists than I am. The truth is, I've been feeling disconnected from the wider Dreamworld. As I said yesterday, the internet I grew up on is all but gone, and anything new or exciting costs more than I can afford. I'm torn between wishing I was rich, and wishing the world of mindless entertainment I knew and loved would come back.
