Shrunk Down

 The first thing everyone learns in economics
Is that everyone must do their part.
Don't try and do everything
Only focus on what you're best at
Don't think about anything else. 

Whether we learn this in school
We all know it to be true.
So we do what we must
And shrink ourselves down
To the size society 
Wants us to be.

Everybody does it.
All you have to do 
Is focus on your one true love,
Whether it's your spouse,
Your job,
Your hobby. 
If you focus
You'll be free to be who you are.

Everyone else makes it look so easy.
So why can't I seem to do it?
