The Things I Don't Want

 I don't want McDonalds,
I'm better than those
Who can't have more 
Than the lowest food in the land.

I don't want to live in poverty,
Food denied,
Joy merely a fantasy.

I don't want to live in extravagance,
Friends who won't leave me,
Money I won't spend.

If I must be taunted,
I will not be taunted with 
The things I don't want.
I will be taunted by the thing
I want more than anything else.

Which is something,
Something important,
Something I'll know when I find it.

I don't know why I can only name 
The things I don't want,
But I do know that I want something,
Damn It.
