Old Sayings

 They say that the more things change
The more they stay the same.
Sometimes I wonder
If the reverse is also true. 
Words that mean anything,
Taken as gospel,
But in the end only matter in context.

There are things said so often
That we take them as truth;
The grass is always greener,
The sun will always come out,
A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.
Woven into our culture
Sayings are pervasive,
Yet we don't even know if they're true until it's too late.
